What the site is made of.

A catalogue built on catalogue numbers

Every release gets its number, artwork, artists, format and players, on its own page that can be linked to and indexed.

A roster that leads back to the records

Each artist has a page, and each page connects to what they released on the label. The roster works as navigation, not as a credits list.

A demo queue, not an inbox

Submissions arrive with a status attached and private notes for the team, so nothing gets reviewed twice and nothing quietly disappears.

Label nights that archive themselves

Showcases and parties move into the archive once they have passed, so the site never advertises a night that already happened.

What your week looks like.

  1. Announce

Add the release with its catalogue number and artwork. It appears on the front page, in the catalogue and on the artist’s page at once.

  2. Review

Work the demo queue when you have time. Mark what you are listening to, what is shortlisted and what you have passed on.

  3. Delegate

Give the person who actually updates the site an editor login. They can add records and dates without reaching your settings.

Questions.

How does the demo inbox actually work?
Submissions land in a private queue rather than an inbox. Each one carries a status you can change, notes only your team sees, and audio reachable through short-lived signed links, so unreleased music from unsigned producers is never sitting at a public URL.
Can more than one person manage the site?
Yes. The Label plan includes multiple logins with roles. Owners and admins change settings and the team, editors only touch content, which is what you want for an intern adding release dates.
We sell on Bandcamp. Do we need a shop?
No, and we would talk you out of it. Each release links to Bandcamp and Beatport. Running your own checkout adds tax, fraud and support work a small label has no reason to take on.
What happens to our catalogue as it grows?
Every release and every artist has its own page from the start, which is what search engines rank and what people link to. A catalogue of sixty behaves the same as a catalogue of six.
Can we close demo submissions temporarily?
Yes. The form can be switched off or set to a stated window, and the site says which it is rather than leaving producers guessing.
